Dear Parents,                              

Welcome back families!  We hope that you were able to enjoy a nice long holiday weekend with your kiddos.   It is also the time of year where we start looking ahead to fall registration. I know it is hard to believe considering it is the middle of January, but today is the very first day of registration for the 2015-2016 school year! We have had so many of our wonderful families that have helped us spread the word about Word of Life Academy, so pay close attention to our referral program. We are happy to provide you with extra packets so that you can share them with all of your friends, neighbors, and family!

Enrollment – We are currently enrolling students for the fall 2016-17 school year.  You will find the enrollment packet in your folder today.   All of our current families are receiving priority enrollment before we open up enrollment to the community. So that you may take advantage of this time, it is important that you return your enrollment paperwork to us by February 12^th before Open Enrollment begins on February 16^th.

Referrals– We would like to give a great big THANK-YOU to our wonderful families that have been spreading the word about Word of Life Academy. If you know of any families that are interested in enrolling, please let us know. Spots will fill up fast and this is the perfect time to tour the school.

Parent Options Classes ~ There are still openings for Soccer, Art and Dance if you are interested, just ask us at the front desk for more info.

Get Connected! –  There are so many ways to stay connected to us here at Word of Life Academy. We are sent home a handout and an email last week that shows you all of the ways that you can stay connected to us.  It is a great way to stay connected with the school and also to learn about weather cancellations as well. If you haven’t friended us or followed us yet, now is a great time to start.

Label Cold Weather Clothing ~ When the weather gets so chilly, our lost and found tends to build with coats, hats, and gloves.  Please make sure to label all of your children ’s clothing items so that we can get the lost items back to their owners. 

Extra Clothing at School ~If you have not already done so, please be sure to change out your child’s extra clothes to a warm set.  If you are not sure what extra clothes your child already has here, please check with his/her teachers.  They will be happy to check for you.
