Dear Parents,
Can you believe we only have two weeks of school
before Christmas? This month is flying by with all of our fun events that we
have planned as a school and individually in our classrooms!
Christmas Concert – This Thursday December 11that
6:30pm is our annual Christmas concert and is going to be fantastic!
The kids have been practicing really hard and we know it will be a wonderful
time! If you have not already done so,
please RSVP so that we can purchase enough cookies for the evening! Please
have your child dressed in their Christmas finest and in their regular
classroom no later than 6:10pm. We are asking that all parents take their child
to the bathroom before bringing them
to class so that they are all ready to go on stage. After you drop your
children off, you may go find your seat in the sanctuary. Please be aware that
there will be several hundred people at our concert so the sooner you arrive
the better seats you will get. Immediately following the concert we will have a
cookie and lemonade reception in the foyer so please plan on joining us for
some fellowship!
Classroom
Christmas Parties – Each classroom will be having their Christmas party on
either Wednesday or Thursday the 19th and 20th of
December. Teachers have signup sheets at the front desk for needed party items
and several classrooms still need parents to sign up to bring in items.
Christmas
Camp Days ~ Although regular school will not be in session during the weeks of
December 22nd through January 2nd, we will be offering a
fun “Christmas Workshop” camp weeks! The
children will have the opportunity to make all kinds of fun gifts for
themselves or others. We will have
plenty of room available for children and their siblings. We will only be able to offer camp days for
those specific days where we have at least 8 children sign up, so sign up
early! Please let us know as soon as possible so that we can save you a spot.
Lost
and Found ~ Our Lost and Found bin is filling up! Please stop by the front desk to make sure
none of these items are your child’s.
Also, if you could please check your homes for items that may have
accidentally gone home with your child, we would really appreciate it.
